Stoody® – The First Applicatoin of the Submerged Arc Welding Process
Stoody® has a rich history, which began with two brothers in California and an experiment. Hard facing history was made when they created the Stoody® Rod.
Since that fateful day more than 90 years ago, most of hardfacing’s major technology advances originated in the Stoody laboratory. These advances include Stoodite® and the first application of the submerged arc welding process.
